The banquet is over for another year and a new Amateur
Executive has been voted in. There were many two year positions
that were up for election this year and they have been filled
with a new team of volunteers ready to make the 2010 show season
another exciting year for the Amateurs of Ontario. Please see
the OAQHA Directors link should you want to contact any one of
the Executive with your ideas to make the 2010 show season even
better. We welcome your ideas of how the OAQHA can enrich your
show experience or support a particular event.
What does
this new Executive have in store for the competitors this year?
We have secured top AQHA trainers, Dan and Darlene Trein to host
a 2 day clinic on April 10 & 11, 2010 to be held at Fletcher’s
Horse World in Waterford Ontario. We will be featuring sessions
in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation,
Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and Trail. Please contact

book early to ensure availability. Stalls and hydro will be
available at the facility for an additional charge. For further

Horse circuit yet? See the OAQHA Events link to see a current
listing of all shows being held in Ontario this year, show
contact information is outlined. Some of the circuits have
changed for 2010 so check it out and book early to ensure stall
availability. The 2010 OAQHA Executive would like to wish you
